Tutorial: Installing the Python Bridge Server for METAquant Step 1️⃣: Download the METAquant bridge files Visit the following link to download the METAquant bridge files: 👉 https://metaquantuniverse.com/download/bridge.zip Step 2️⃣: Extract the downloaded files Once downloaded, extract the contents of the 'bridge.zip' file to a folder on your computer. Step 3️⃣: Install Python 3.8 If you haven't already, download and install Python 3.8 from the official website: 👉 https://www.python.org/downloads/ During the installation process, make sure to check the box "Add Python 3.8 to PATH" before proceeding. Step 4️⃣: Install the required dependencies Inside the extracted METAquant bridge folder, you will find the "install.bat" file. Double-click on it, and a window will open to start the installation of the dependencies. Press 'Enter' to proceed with the installation of each dependency. Continue to do so until all four dependencies are installed: 1.metatrader5 2.websocket 3.pytz 4.numpy Step 5️⃣: Launch the Python Bridge Server Once the installation of dependencies is complete, locate and double-click the "serveur.cmd" file inside the METAquant bridge folder to launch the server script. You should see the following message displayed: C:\Users\quant\Documents\META_quant BRIDGE server py>python server_v3.py websocket server by niokoz v3.0 Step 6️⃣: Start the MT5 platform Launch your MT5 platform, and log in with your demo account credentials. If you haven't yet created a demo account, you can do so here: 👉 https://j2t.com/openaccount/wt/demo/mct-mt5-global/ Step 7️⃣: Launch METAquant Start the METAquant application on your computer. Step 8️⃣: Connect METAquant to the Python Bridge Server In METAquant, set the Exchange Service to "LOCAL" to connect it to the Python Bridge Server. Step 9️⃣: Select the desired instrument In METAquant, select an instrument to view, such as the e-mini Nasdaq100 (NQ100-CME) using the symbol "FUTESM23." Step 🔟: Adjust the settings After selecting the instrument, adjust the "tick size" and "scale" settings in METAquant to match the specifications of the e-mini Nasdaq100 (NQ100-CME).
